Welcome to the infant classroom! In the infant room we work with each individual baby's schedule while incorporating enriching learning activities. We understand that leaving your child may be hard, we ensure that we will work with you to make the transition a happy one for everyone!
The infant teachers have developed a curriculum that includes songs, finger plays, art activities, and sensory exploration all in an environment that is free and open to the changing needs of every child.
The toddler room is full of activity! In the toddler classroom we will be focusing on helping your child become more independent by verbalizing their wants and needs. Through the utilization and growth of language, fine and gross motor skills practice, and social/emotional development children work at their own pace to become more communicative while increasing their self-help skills and fostering independence.
At Little Blessings we create a program which is a play based curriculum that supports each child's developmental growth. We incorporate the children's interests and our observations into our themes and in seeking out activities that will engage the children. The activities and lessons are theme based and change weekly. We incorporate hands on lessons and art activities as well as sensory exploration, group activities and music and movement.
Our goal in the preschool two classroom is to foster positive respectful relationships between teachers, children and families. We support your child's social and emotional development in several ways throughout the day by introducing turn-taking, personal space awareness, empathy, as well as self-regulation. Our classroom approach focuses on making friends, experiencing pride and self-confidence, develop independence and problem solving skills and develop a life-long love of learning!
The activities we plan, the classroom environment, the selection of materials and manipulatives, as well as discussions with the children are all designed to accomplish the goals of our curriculum which give your child a strong building block for life-long learning. The other program that is utilized in Preschool three is Get Set for School which focuses on playful learning to develop coloring, drawing, early math, literacy, and handwriting readiness skills. Activities are not only engaging, but meaningful to a young child's life.
